A lovely day at the museum.

I went to the national arts museum today! I haven‘t done that in forever, and I forgot how much fun it is. It was a reminder that there are no rules when it comes to creative expression; it’s not only okay to play around with it - that‘s kinda the point of it actually. There is no “right way” of doing it, only your way.

I know this is obvious, but I still sort of forgot it for a moment :-)

Here’s an example of the very different ways of doing things:

It doesn‘t really matter if it’s “pretty”, cause who are you doing it for?

And also it was inspiring to see examples of social commentary/criticism through art. Makes me want to get back into drawing and painting...

I did do some drawing of a couple statues there, I really enjoyed having real pencil and paper in my hands again. I didn’t have time to do much because I was with my parents, but I will come back another day just to draw as I walk around...
